Context & Challenges

 

At Mayma, we believe the future of food lies in regenerating the relationship between people, land, and water.
Today, in Argentina, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay, food producers are navigating increasingly complex scenarios: climate crisis, water scarcity, economic vulnerability, and pressure on production systems.

 

In this context, we proudly call ourselves radical optimists. We are committed to strengthening a new generation of producers who embrace agroecology, food sovereignty, and the regeneration of their territories.

Mayma BIO is a support and connection program that accompanies food producers and entrepreneurs in their transition toward more conscious, sustainable, and economically viable production models. Our goal is to accelerate agroecology in the region by empowering those who produce healthy food—strengthening their management skills, community leadership, and market impact. We believe that soil and biodiversity matter, and water is a vital food source. We promote their care as a central pillar in climate change mitigation.



Each of our programs is tailor-made, beginning with a participatory diagnostic in the field.

  • Seminars with impact business leaders: covering topics such as finance, marketing, communication, B-Canvas, impact metrics, and purpose evaluation.
  • Practice and peer-learning sessions, where participants apply their knowledge in small groups and share insights.
  • Group mentoring: every group of three entrepreneurs is guided by a specialized mentor to tackle specific challenges.
  • Strategic materials: planning tools such as the B-Canvas, financial plans, and practical guides for managing purpose-driven businesses.
  • Access to recorded content to deepen learning throughout the year.
